The Busbybhoy is bored to tears with poker tbh. Might as well give the rest of ye a chance to take on the Lydons

Looking forward to the game. How many players do ye expect? I assume ye have chips, cards etc? Is it true ye buy the "imports" a round of drinks?

Nutboy - the final table draw saga did not involve me in case u thought it did. It involved a very affable lady player on the circuit.
In any event I have total trust (as I hope we all do) in the very capable TD that is Muscles. His passion and commitment to the development of the game is unrivalled in these parts - and he should be nominated for a IAPTD (irish amateur poker tournament director) Award.
His continued investment in plant & machinery (i.e. cards, chips, and table tops) in these challenging times is to be commended and his continued support for C&C (i.e. Bulmers people) in the face of job cuts and a poor apple harvest this year shows that he maintains a continued loyalty to all that is, well, commendable.
Another great thing I used to think about him as a TD was that he would never criticise or discuss afterwards the plays of players or indeed family members & friends - no matter how silly the moves and calls might have been. However, he edited my first message on this thread which is upsetting!!!
Nevertheless, his continued commitment was evident in that after a late night in Collite on Sunday after the tourney he had insufficient time to recover to put a float in our Paddy's parade. The closest float to cards was Bohola N.S. who did a pack of cards with an Alice in Wonderland theme. Someone commented that it should have been Annette in Wonderland !
