There are at least two weeks to the final. As i said did a quick calculation. I would have rechecked it again and again esp after previous incidents. And again, i repeat that is the reason they are posted here so someone can double check to ensure that a mistake isnt made. It's not ideal but can anyone recommend a better system?? With respect muscles, the better system is just not to post any points or prize pools here without having double checked them. Posting `quick calculations` is just not good enough when dealing with over €2,000 Personally I dont want to see you leave, but I do expect the prizepool and points to be calculated correctly. Fair point but to be honest, it's very frustartaing spending as long as i do on the admin and even then getting it wrong. Personally i wish i had just stuck to the very original points system and a €5 per man, no early birds, and posted current total each week. Eamon did offer to do the points etc for this league as many players log in on Friday mornign to see the table but if im working Friday, im up at 7 am and dont have the time to do it. BTW, how does the system work in Balla. Who keeps check of things etc and who keeps check of him?? Genuine quuestion.

I agree with Ritchie, the overall prizepool is what we are all looking forward to playing for. I dont believe that anyone wants to get rid of our TD. What I want is to play poker have the crack and slagging but not to be checking is points / prizepool correct when we are playing for 2k.

You dont need to have the points up first thing Friday morning muscles. Within reason, take your time.... The most important thing is that its done correctly. If you feel however that you dont have the time to spend at it, maybe it would be a good idea to let someone else do it In Balla, Donnagh (the pub owner) does the points. Im not sure what computer programme he uses but in fairness there doesn`t be many mistakes. I can only remember of 1 or maybe 2

How much per player etc or is just a set total each night?? I presume he posts the updated table in pub each week? Also what points system is used? Sorry for all the questions but always looking for ways to improve things...

The table is availabe every week Its not a set amount per player taken for final each week points system: 1st 15, 2nd 12, 3rd 10, 4th 9, 5th 8 and so on. 2 bonus points for highest hand on the night.

Just a quick calculation but I think some chipstacks are wrong . Dave Cunningham - 76,900 76,900 Joe McHugh - 58,300 58,300 Nicky Cunnane - 52,700 52,700 Enda MacGearty - 46,100 46,100 Bob Flatley - 43,600 41,100 Derek Stevens - 40,900 38,400 Derry O'Sullivan - 38,200 35,700 Danny McHugh - 35,600 32,600 Daryl Henry - 29,500 29,500 Brian Fallon - 26,400 26,400 Michael Higgins - 15,700 Not enough info Liam Lyons - 12,700 Not enough info ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- few quick questions muscles:are the chips stacks on the right correct for tomorrow night? what are the blind levels...20 or 25 mins and do they get smaller? is final table 10 or 9 players and will there be a dealer? can we just let fingers start with the extra 2500 as it won't matter by the end of the night? why is bob flately the only man in the world who doesn't have a mobile phone? why are eamon and ritchie not in the final? when the king doesn't win will he be known from now on as the jester? how sick will dave cunningham be after coming to the final with such a lead and not winning? ;D
